The RM313PNA Silver ExactSet Fixed Projection Alarm Clock with Indoor Temperature makes going to bed or waking up fun! This cool member of the ExactSet family has all the amazing attributes of our other ExactSet clocks: it sets itself automatically, self-corrects for daylight saving time, projects the time in soft glowing red numbers on the wall or ceiling and now provides you with the indoor temperature! This cool and curvaceous clock not only looks good, but is easy to use and operate. The radio tower icon on the LCD screen lets you know your ExactSet projection clock is tuned in and receiving the super-accurate Atomic Clock time. Colorful design and split-second accuracy -- a combination of style and technology that is unquestionable!
Okay, but has problemsReviewed by Brandon Konkle, 2010-03-03
This clock is okay for the price, but the model we received doesn't have a working backlight on the front display. I tried contacting the company through the email address on their website, but it came back as undeliverable. For me, it's not worth the trouble to try to send back to Amazon to exchange for another one, and I'm just using it for the time projection, so I'm using it as-is. Based on other reviews I've read, though, it's not uncommon to get a defective unit, so keep that in mind.
Really good alarm clock !Reviewed by J. Santiago Torres, 2010-02-17
I been using this alarm clock for 2 years now and I have no complaints about it. Doesn't go out of time, it synchronizes itself. It projects the time in big red numbers in the ceiling so when I wake up in the middle of the night all I have to do is look up and I know the time. The alarm is annoying enough to wake me up (that's a good thing) and the snooze button gives me 8 more minutes of sleep, lol. Also it tells the temperature. Really good alarm clock!
On down the road 5 yearsReviewed by Di Allen-Thompson, 2010-02-13
This clock was given to me as a gift about 5 1/2 years ago. It has worked just fine all that time until about 6 months ago when the LED lights for the projection apparatus started going out...we have to guess at the minutes now, and the hour is also starting to go. For the money, however, it worked well for 5 years.
Great Projection ClockReviewed by M. Patterson, 2010-02-10
I ordered this only for the projection clock. It works exactly as
described.
I would absolutely purchase again.
Oregon Scientific Self-Setting Projection ClockReviewed by S. Ward, 2010-02-06
The clock did not set itself right away. I own an Emerson atomic
projection clock and as soon as you plug it in it sets itself. So I
was disappointed in that feature. The projection feature is okay
but the numbers are small compared to my Emerson clock. The two
things I like about the Oregon Scientific Clock are the
temperature
reading and that it is small enough to use as a travel clock. If I
had to do it again, I would probably order only one instead of the
three I ordered for Christmas gifts.
